Wishlist Wednesday: As if I could afford Guerlain...

I tend to keep up on holiday collections that I could not possibly buy. I'm an undergraduate, and really, I cannot hope to buy anything from Guerlain's Turandot collection. And to be completely honest, if $150 magically fell from the sky, I probably still won't buy it. I'd probably deposit that shit in my bank account or something.




Turandot is an opera by Puccini. I know very little about Puccini, but I know Turandot and I also know he has a weird fascination with Chinese things. I'm chill with that. I watched the YouTube video and I really liked it.

But the sheer fucking luxury of this palette is incredible. Look at that packaging. Look at it. And look at Christine (of Temptalia fame) and her swatches and her demonstrated look. This is an incredible palette. Damn expensive. Maybe I'll try to engineer myself a NYX version for an order of magnitude less.

  2. Love the palette! I always love holiday palettes that come out this time of year, but I feel like even the major high-end brands put out makeup that fall short in quality, which keeps me from even thinking about investing in such expensive makeup =/
